IC Athena Project workshops

The College is one of six establishments in the country to win an award from the Athena Project to help improve the access, participation and promotion of women in science, engineering and technology in higher education.

The College Athena Project, targeted at women of 35 or under who are lecturers, research staff or PhD students, is offering a series of three workshops and invites applications for them through the staff development unit. Each workshop will be run twice and individuals are welcome to attend all three workshops, or the workshops that they feel are most appropriate for them; Networking and the female academic career; Integrating your career with the career of your partner; Balancing home and work.
