Hi, I am Alex! I returned to The Principles of Biomolecular Systems group as a PhD student in 2022 after a brief stint in industry. I worked with Dr. Thomas Ouldridge, Prof. Guy-Bart Stan and Dr. Tomislav Plesa in 2019 on my final year project while an undergraduate on the MEng in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. 

 

My undergraduate project focused on the mathematical analysis of a chemical reaction network that aims to regulate the concentration of a chemical species through integral feedback. This project sparked an interest in the design and analysis of biomolecular components that are biological parallels of motifs found in other engineering disciplines.
