Local safety training to access the facility can be requested by contacting the facility manager (Dr Sam Horrell - shorrell@ic.ac.uk). Training can usually be offered within 24-48 hours, with access the same day providing the required training below have been completed prior.

Prospective Diamond Light Source users need to register with the Diamond User Administration System (UAS) and complete the Imperial College online X-ray safety awareness training (Modules 1 and 4, detailed  here), as well as the cryogenic gases and decanting liquid nitrogen course.

For users who do not wish to use Diamond light Source but are keen to use the Mosquito, Dragonfly, and other facility equipment, specific training on these can be arranged by contacting the facility manager, Dr Sam Horrell (shorrell@ic.ac.uk).
