Gongpu Chen is a Research Associate at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his B.S. degree in Automation Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, in 2016, the M.S. degree in Control Science and Engineering in Southeast University, Nanjing, in 2019, and the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023. His research interests include wireless communications and networking, intelligent cyber-physical systems, constrained MDP, reinforcement learning, and channel coding.
