09/04/2024 - Haptics Symposium Conference, Long Beach
Ad has been attending the IEEE Haptics Symposium Conference in Long Beach, California. He has been serving as the Hands-on-Demonstrations Co-chair for the conference and is also presenting in the cross-cutting-challenge on consumer haptics.

11/01/2024 - UK Robot Manipulation Workshop
Xin and Ad from the MTL recently attended the 5th UK Robot Manipulation Workshop, at the University of Oxford. Xin presented the Instagrasp via a poster.
15/08/2023 - Welcome Steve Murtough
We're pleased to welcome Dr Steve Murtough as the latest member of the MTL. Steve will be working as a part time Research Associate, processing user data from recent experiments in navigation assistance for persons with visual impairements.
10/07/2023 - World Haptics Conference, Delft
Ad is attending the IEEE World Haptics Conference in Delft where he is presenting an invited talk at the workshop "Improving the Utility of Haptic Feedback in Upper-Limb Prosthesis Control: establishing user-centric guidelines for engineering innovation".
He's also presenting two Work-in-progress papers on MTL's research on haptic interfaces for visually impaired people.
