CERN

About the event

Have you ever wondered how they collide protons near the speed of light to produce the Higgs boson? Do you worry about the imbalance between matter and anti-matter? Are you curious about the origins of the universe? We have a limited number of tickets available to alumni for a very special behind-the-scenes visit to CERN, where Imperial College London plays a leading role in some of the most exciting experiments.

The tours will take place on the 19 and 20 September and you will be able to choose which day is most convenient for you when you select your ticket (subject to availability). The cost of the day is £100, with lunch and onward travel from CERN to either Geneva airport or the city centre included in this. We also welcome you to attend with a guest, if you would like to do so please select two alumni tickets for your selected tour day.
