Summary

Matthew is an EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellow working with Dr. Yuval Elani and Prof. Oscar Ces. His research focuses on developing hydrogel based biomimetic artificial cells and tissues.

Previously, in his PhD he developed a range of hydrogel artificial cell platforms. Before his postgraduate studies, Matthew completed a Msci at Imperial College London where he worked with a variety of model lipid membrane platforms throughout his master’s project and through a research internship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
