Summary

Yifan received her BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London in 2015. She then continued to do a MRes in Nanomaterials with the project title ''The effect of electron transport layers on the stability of hybrid perovskite solar cells''.

She completed her PhD in 2020 under the supervision of Prof James Durrant with co-supervision of Dr Artem Bakulin. During her PhD, she investigated the carrier dynamics in non-fullerene organic photovoltaics using ultrafast spectroscopy. She is currently working in the Durrant group as a postdoctoral researcher, looking at the excited state photophysics in organic semiconductors.
