About Cornerstone

In response to Postgraduate Reseach Experience Survey (PRES) results in 2019, the Graduate School led a review of supervisor support and development at College. The result was Cornerstone - a dedicated programme to support Imperial’s PhD supervisors, developed by experts from across College in partnership with doctoral students.

This site brings together information about the training and support available across the College to help Main, Co- and Assistant supervisors best support and guide their Doctoral students. It also provides details on what training and continued professional development is mandatory.
