Films
Both the MSc Science Media Production students and the MSc Science Communication students have a chance to make short films. Over the summer, the Science Media Production students go on to make a longer film on a topic of their choice. Here are some examples of these final films:
Seasick
A film by Aliyah Kovner and Patrick Kennedy about an unexplained wasting disease afflicting starfish along the North American coast.
Fragmented
A film by Ellie MacKay exploring the impact on wildlife of leaving fragments of rain forest untouched within Borneo's palm oil plantations.
RED ZONES
A film by Alberto Allica and Federico Barni about the people of Naples, living and working in the shadow of an active volcano.
The Gift
A film by Valentin Meneveau, Sadie Straker and Noel Heaney about the centrality of religion for people living on the Faroe Islands.
The Last Luzzu
A film by Eva Spielvogel and Frank Jordan about the impact of globalization on the fishing communities of Malta.
Man on Mount Kenya
A film by Cecilia Vargas and Rosie Woodcock about the rangers who try to protect Mount Kenya from poaching and illegal logging.
Radio
