The Imperial College Society for Women & Non-Binary Individuals in Physics aims to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive network for women and non-binary people working and studying in physics.

Through a series of social, educational, and academic events we hope to promote a strong sense of community within the department. These events connect undergraduates, postgraduates, post-docs and staff members together to provide opportunities for friendship, support, mentorship, and access to role models. Some of the events we have organised in the past include lunches, bike rides, cocktail evenings, outreach opportunities, professional development courses, and seminars.

Sign up for our mailing list to hear more about future events!

By creating an empowered cohort, we hope to increase the number of people from underrepresented groups who continue on to have successful careers in physics. We are excited about a future where representation is equal at every level of the physics career path, from undergraduate all the way up to professor.
