I am developing neutrino interaction models for accelerator-based neutrino oscillation experiments in the GeV region.

a) Is there anything about the Department of Physics that has surprised and impressed you?

The junior PhD Students are prepared for their long journey and they know what they are expected to do. The senior students are very confident and help junior and master students. They seem to be ready to demonstrate leadership skills in their future careers.  

b) What type of support did you get to ensure that you could submit an excellent fellowship application?

Writing excellent proposals needs experience and it can be very challenging for a young researcher. I received comments to improve my proposal i.e to highlight the strong points of my research clearly by following the 3 S'es: Succinct, Short, and Simple.
