Project Details:

I am developing an interface between two key components of future quantum networks: sources of single photons that are used to encode and process quantum information, and quantum memories that are needed to store and distribute the information

Start Date: 1 October 2022

Duration: 4 years

a) Why did you decide to come to Imperial?

Imperial physics is a great department with exciting and diverse research. There is a large quantum optics community with great infrastructure and resources - the perfect environment for my research.

b) What advice would you give to new applicants interested in the same fellowship scheme?

The Imperial College Research Fellowship is a great scheme so I would encourage everyone to apply. In your application make sure to explain what is exciting and novel about your research proposal, and how the fellowship would help to launch your independent research career.
